Privacy Policy
Summary
This site does not ask you to create an account, post comments, or fill in forms. I do not sell or share personal information. This page explains the small amount of data that may be handled when you visit.
Information you give me
The site has no forms, accounts, comments, or newsletter. If you contact me (see the contact page), I use your message and your address only to reply and to improve the site. I do not pass them to third parties, except where the law requires it.
Server logs and hosting
The site is delivered through a static hosting service (Cloudflare Pages). Like most web services, the hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. I do not use this information to identify individual visitors.
Fonts
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them, so Google may receive technical information such as your IP address. Please see Google’s privacy policy for how it handles this.
Analytics
At the time of the last update, this site uses no analytics tools. If I add an analytics tool such as Google Analytics, I will update this page before it goes live, and explain what is collected and how to opt out.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site uses Google AdSense, an advertising service from Google, and may show ads at the end of some articles. Ads are labeled “Advertisement”.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Ads Settings. To learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Cookies and local storage
This site itself does not set cookies. Cookies used for advertising are set by Google and other third-party vendors (see “Advertising (Google AdSense)” above). If you choose light or dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) so that it is remembered on your next visit. It stays on your device. Site search runs in your browser, and your search words are not sent to me.
External links
Pages may link to official or other external websites. Those sites handle information under their own policies.
Changes
I may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
